Before You Order
- Find your model name. It is on your order confirmation if you bought the bike from us; if not, call us with a photo of the bike and we will help you identify it.
- Match it exactly. Similar names are different models with different parts: an XWLX09 is not an XWLX09-II, and an RS-A01 is not an RS-A01 Pro-T.
- Not sure the battery is the problem? A Zeus Tech Session ($59, 30 minutes by phone or video) diagnoses it first, and Concierge ($119) adds sourcing the exact part and walking you through the installation on video (prices in CAD, October 2026, from our warranty page). About This Battery, in Samebike’s Words
- Warranty and life: Samebike’s French store gives the battery a 1-year warranty and about 1,000 charge cycles, and says each one is charge- and discharge-tested before it ships.
- Protection: a protection board that guards against overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent and short circuits.
- Storage: if you will not ride for more than a few days, keep it at about 75% charge, check it once a month, and store it indoors, somewhere dry, away from heat, flame and direct sun.
- Charging: it charges on or off the bike; use the original charger, and charge only indoors, somewhere dry, neither too hot nor too cold. For lithium-ion cells, Battery University’s BU-410 table permits charging only from 0 °C to 45 °C.
